A clear path to weight loss

Treatment with Zepbound®, Mounjaro®, Wegovy® and Ozempic®

Get Started

Welcome To My Website

I provide both in-person and telemedicine visits for weight loss utilizing the powerful new GLP1 medications along with diet and exercise modifications.

The GLP1 medications used include Semaglutide (brand names Ozempic® and Wegovy®) and Tirzepatide (brand names Mounjaro® and Zepbound®). Compounded medications or brand name medications are available.

These medications work on receptors in the body to dramatically curb appetite, reduce food cravings and increase a sense of fullness after eating. This allows you to eat less and make healthier food choices. There is emerging evidence that they may also increase metabolism, allowing you to burn calories faster than without the medication.

Frequently Asked Questions

GLP1s are powerful new medications used for weight loss and diabetes.
The most commonly prescribed are Semaglutide (Ozempic®, Wegovy®) and Tirzepatide (Zepbound®, Mounjaro®). Compounded medications or brand name medications are available.
These medicines work on GLP1 receptors in the body to decrease appetite and cravings while increasing feelings of fullness. Emerging research also suggests that they increase metabolism.

These medications are indicated for adults (18 years or older) with obesity (BMI>30) or who are overweight with a BMI >27 along with at least one weight related medical condition such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, sleep apnea or type 2 diabetes.

You are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
You have ever had Medullary Thyroid Cancer (MTC) or have a family history of MTC.
You have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Syndrome type 2 (MEN 2)
You are under the age of 18.
You have a history of serious allergic reaction to semaglutide or tirzepatide.

NOTE: Additionally, if you have a history of pancreatitis, kidney failure, gallbladder disease not yet treated by removal of the gallbladder, type 1 diabetes, family history of MTC, or have diabetic retinopathy then these medications might not be suitable for you.

The most common side effects of GLP1 medications are gastrointestinal and can include: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, feeling bloated, belching and abdominal pain. These effects can usually be minimized by slow titration of dosing. Fatigue, headache and lightheadedness may occur.
Potentially more serious (but much less common) side effects can include pancreatitis, gallbladder inflammation, dehydration leading to kidney injury, low blood sugar and allergic reaction.
There is a theoretical/potential risk of Thyroid C cell tumors based on research in animals.

These medications are given by subcutaneous injections (just below the skin) that you do once a week at home.
You will be taught how to do these injections at your in-person 1st appointment or by your pharmacist when you pick up your first dose of medication.

Initial lab work will be ordered at the first visit to assess baseline function of vital organs such as liver and kidneys.
Follow up lab work will be at the discretion of the doctor.
